So last night from my phone I tried to post a link…it didn’t work! Imagine that! ;)
Well, there’s a reason for it…it was the WRONG post! Ha!

Today I received a phone call from one of my original Boot Campers…a call that was MUCH needed today; she shared with me some milestones that she has made and “filled my pitcher”…too many times we (myself way too much!) beat ourselves up over things we can’t do and don’t celebrate those things that we CAN do! I am now in the CAN DO frame of mind and geared to Kick Arse and Take Names! :) Watch Out! Anyone care to join me??

This is what I was TRYING to link up…a good article from Battleship CrossFit which speaks the truth in my opinion…

We get told a lot, “I just don’t have the money for CrossFit”…. Honestly it’s not about money, it’s about priorities…

No, CrossFit isn’t easy, if it were, everyone would be doing it…
How many of your friends are out there busting their @$$es doing the HARD stuff?? Probably not very many of them…how many of our members have stopped coming to the box because they have some sort of excuse; mainly because it’s just too hard or “there’s not enough time”….I call BS on that one; it’s 4% of your day! You need to make time for YOU!! You will be a much happier person if you do what’s right for YOU!!
No more excuses!!

I’m super proud of those who put that extra weight on the bar today! You are definitely Better Than Yesterday for doing that! :)

Strength: BBG: 5x(1 Squat Snatch + 1 Muscle Snatch + 1 hang Muscle Snatch) increase in weight; work with partner and video

Hope For Hayden 5K

Due to the overwhelming response to this run (close to 1000 entrants!), there will be a special pickup of packets at a residence in Taos on TUESDAY night.
IF you would like for your packet to be picked up and be available by Wednesday at the box, please email, text or call me no later than 5pm Tuesday.

Otherwise, pickup is on your own on Friday night: NH Scheppers (Budweiser Bldg.) on St. Mary’s Blvd. from 4:30 to 7:00.

It is strongly suggested to carpool as much as possible for this run and to keep in mind that this is a charity event and there will be no timing devices tracking your times.

If you have questions let me know and PLEASE let me know if you want your packet picked up!

We will be closed on Mother’s Day…Get out and enjoy the great weather! If you are a mom of young kids, show your love of fitness and show them a thing or two. Make up a mini-WOD for them or take them for a nature hike. Make it memorable!
