CFU Kids is a program designed specifically for kids ages 4-11 and grades 6-8. During the classes, participants will have the opportunity to work on the 10 fitness domains-strength, power, cardiovascular endurance, stamina, flexibility, balance, agility, speed, accuracy, and coordination. The overall goal is to make fitness fun where the kids beg for more. Classes typically meet two times per week. Some teen specialty classes may meet up to three times per week and class times vary depending on enrollment.

Physiologically and neurologically the brain needs a rest, a change in sensory input to process, learn and remember new information. The strategic inclusion of movement-based activity breaks within the study/learning environment can offer the promise of better, more efficient learning. Greater attention abilities, effective memory storage, and a decline in negative behaviors that detract from the capacity for sorting through and absorbing information add up to a more effectual learning experience.” ~CrossFit Kids
It is my dream, that through this program that the kids involved not only obtain the love of fitness, but also become better learners in the process.
